bon weekend!

When I was in elementary school, we had to sing this song called "The Cat Came Back" about this guy who kept trying to get rid of a cat, that--you guessed it--kept coming back. My dad hates cats, and we'd sit at home making fun of this stupid song and this stupid cat and generally bonding over our mutual hatred of felines.

Kind of a weird memory, eh?

Nowadays I think I'd really like to get a cat. Although when I told my friend Chelsea this, she just smiled knowingly. I said, laughing, "What, do I sound like a cat lady or something?"

She laughed and gave me a hug. "Oh, Mel."

??????????????????????????

But you know what? I'll gladly be a cat lady if I can sit all alone in my house snuggling down in any of the following pieces of furniture.

  1. That's funny, I wouldn't want any of those pieces of furniture in my house. (Aren't you glad I comment here? Who else would tell you that?)

Also, have I told you how happy I am that you use your middle name on your blog so I'll never forget it?

  5. MAYBE you will just redefine cat-ladyhood. Make it hip or something.
